The Super Mario Bros. Super Show!
In 1989 the two most famous plumbers from Brooklyn burst out of the Nintendo game world and onto television screens across America. The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! aired weekday afternoons and brought Mario, Luigi, Princess Toadstool and King Koopa more thrilling adventures as cartoon characters. And if that weren't enough, each episode also contained live-action segments featuring Mario and Luigi running their Brooklyn plumbing shop - all before they were flushed down a drainpipe into the Mushroom World.

23mWith the help of the wizard Mervin, Mario pulls the Golden Plumber's Helper from the magic sink and saves the Land of Cramalot from evil King Koopa.
3. Butch Mario & the Luigi Kid
22mKoopa the Kid has kidnapped the Princess and hidden her in the Old West, and when Mario and Luigi ride into town to save her they find Koopa has branded them wanted outlaws with rewards on their heads.
4. Mario's Magic Carpet
22mThe Marios wage a wild magic carpet battle to save the Princess from being forced into King Koopa's harem.
5. The Ringer
22mWhen Ganon learns that there is to be an Amateur Magician's Contest in the Castle of Hyrule, he sees his chance.
6. Rolling Down the River
22mMario and Luigi disguise themselves as Riverboat Gamblers to rescue the Princess who is held captive on Captain Koopa's sidewheeler, "The Sinister Star".

9. Love 'Em and Leave 'Em
22mThe dreaded Queen Rotunda of Rotundaland falls in love with Mario when she mistakenly drinks a love potion and tries to force him into marriage.
10. Cold Spells
22mWhen it's spring cleaning time in the castle, Link pretends to have a cold in order to get out of doing work.
