Mahabharat
Mahabharat is a 2013 drama TV series on Star Plus based on Indian legendary epic of the same name. It has been produced by Swastik Pictures and features actors such as Saurabh Raj Jain as Lord Krishna, Shaheer Sheikh as Arjuna, Pooja Sharma as Draupadi, Aham Sharma as Karna and Arav Chowdhary as Bhishma Pitamah. The producers had creative associations with writer Salim Khan, author Devdutt Pattanaik, designer Bhanu Athaiya, music directors Ajay-Atul and Ismail Darbar, action director Ram Shetty and set designer Omang Kumar. The casting of the show is done by Sahil Ansari, Mahesh Chandra Bhatt, Arun Mitra. It started broadcasting on 16 September 2013.

1. Shantanu Accepts Bhishma as His Son
42mThe people of Hastinapur are attacked by Rakshasas. Bhishma comes to save the people. Later Shantanu comes to know from Ganga that Bhishma is his son and accepts him.
2. Bhishma Saves Vichitravirya
21mVichitravirya is captured by the King of Panchal, for his misdeeds. Bhishma saves Vichitravirya from the King of Panchal.
3. Bhishma defeats King Salva
20mSatyavati orders Bhishma to win the three daughters of King of Kashi from their seeming swayamvara, so that they can be married to Vichitravirya.
4. Amba Orders Bhishma to Marry Her
21mFeeling victimized Amba seeks justice. She orders Bhishma to marry her but he refuses as he has taken an oath. Amba swears that she will take revenge on Bhishma. So, she seeks the help of Lord Parashurama.
5. Ambika and Ambalika give birth to boys
20mVichitravirya dies under mysterious circumstances. Bhishma questions Suryanarayan about Vichitravirya's death and accuses him of destroying his family. Meanwhile, Amba gains the attention of Lord Parashurama.
6. Parashurama Fights with Bhishma
21mAmbika and Ambalika's sons are named Dhritarashtra and Pandu. Amba returns to Hastinapur and asks Bhishma to choose either marriage or death.
7. Amba gets a rebirth as Shikhandini
21mThe Intense battle between Lord Parashurama and Bhishma continues. Lord Shiva intervenes, on request of Goddess Ganga.
